Best of britain tour
Our six day tour starts near Stratford Upon Avon at ‘Caffeine and Machine’. Recently opened this is now the place for petrol heads of all disciplines to get together and is the perfect start to our trip. Heading north we cover the most magnificent routes in the Peak District, Lake District, Scottish Borders, Yorkshire Dales, Northumberland and the Yorkshire Moors.
Some of the most beautiful scenery that Britain has to offer served with a large side order of excellent hotels, stunning scenery and of course, some epic roads.
PEAKS AND FELLS
Our first day covers the most famous roads in the Peak District including the ‘Cat & Fiddle’ and ‘Snake Pass’. After a nights stopover in Lancashire we then explore the Yorkshire Dales including Ribblehead and Aysgarth before arriving in the beautiful Lake District. Here we stay in Langdale Valley for 2 nights before heading to the Borders and some incredible roads, one of which is known as the Scottish Nurburgring.
MOORS AND CASTLES
Finishing that day south of Edinburgh our accommodation is a castle hotel situated in its own grounds overlooking a loch and featuring a state of the art spa. After a sumptuous breakfast the next day we head through Northumberland and the Yorkshire Dales en route to the Yorkshire Moors. We ‘pit-stop’ on the way at Whitby for what many consider the best Fish & Chips in Britain.
