RETRO GP DRIVING EXPERIENCE

Although the circuit was to become legendary by the likes of Jim Clark, Jackie Stewart, Graham Hill and Jochen Rindt after the French Grand Prix was hosted here during the late 60’s and early 70’s, it was Stirling Moss on his first outing here in the 50’s who said “There’s no better track than Charade”.

THERE's NO BETTER TRACK THAN CHARADE

It was also here at Charade that scenes to one of the biggest grossing motion pictures of 1966 the now classic movie ‘Grand Prix’ was filmed.

Now you can return to this golden age and dance in the shoes of champions as you get behind the wheel of a new 60’s style single seater racing car for a truly classic experience.

30 LAPS [120KMS] OF THIS 4 KM, 18 CORNER CIRCUIT

Over the course of the day you will complete no less than 30 laps [120kms] of this 4km / 18 corner circuit that undulates through the mountains of the Auvergne region. And not only will you enjoy a newly built vintage ‘Crossle’ racer [that would put many modern day supercars to shame with its straightforward speed, agility and handling characteristics] but you can relax between stints in the 60’s inspired lounge where briefing, lunch and end of the day celebration cocktails are all delivered. Throughout, a really authentic travel back in time.

The event includes 2 nights 4 star hotel accommodation in Clermont Ferrand, return transfers to the circuit from the hotel as well as dinner each night with your host 14 times Le Mans driver Robin Donovan.
