Le Mans Classic
Held biennially the Le Mans Classic is now one of the greatest historic motor sports events on the European calendar. Telling the story of the legendary Le Mans 24 hours from 1923 to 1979, 500 race cars, split dependent on age, into six mighty grids, compete three times each over the 24 hours on the full circuit.
ONE OF THE GREATEST HISTORIC EVENTS
And as mouth-watering as the smell of Castrol R and the sight of everything from 1920’s 3 litre Bentleys to 1970’s 917 Porsche’s can be out on the circuit, a further 8,500 cars with a Le Mans heritage are displayed on the infield within walking distance of the paddocks. Add this to the burgeoning number of memorabilia stalls, trade stores, exhibitions, demonstrations and car club displays and you have a veritable cocktail of sights and sounds to indulge and delight everyone from 9 to 90.
OVERLOOKING THE START LINE STRAIGHT
Our VIP programme here is right next to the paddocks overlooking the start line straight and the dramatic run into the first turn. With fine gourmet catering and open bar throughout, you will enjoy both dramatic on-site viewing as well as grandstand seating, access to all paddocks, circuit tours and a spectacular ‘sky stand’ helicopter lap during the racing.
The event includes 4 nights nearby chateau accommodation with return transfers to the circuit and is hosted by former 14 x Le Mans driver [and Le Mans Classic competitor] Robin Donovan.
