Astons top category return to Le Mans to compete for overall honours in 2025
Taking on the now burgeoning pack of manufacturers in the top category Hyperclass, Aston Martin have confirmed their intentions to run an Adrian Newy inspired 6.5 litre Valkyrie in 2025. Not fazed by the tough opposition promised from the likes of Ferrari, Porsche, Toyota, BMW, Peugeot, Lamborghini, Cadillac, Alpine and Acura, Lawrence Stroll, billionaire chairman of Aston Martin said, “Performance is the lifeblood of everything that we do at Aston Martin, and motorsport is the ultimate expression of this pursuit of excellence”. They intend to compete in both the WEC and IMSA taking in all the celebrated endurance classics including the Daytona 24 Hours, the Sebring 12 Hours and the most legendary endurance stage of them all, the mighty 24 Hours of Le Mans.
