Derek Bells late morning Le Mans Legends luncheon
For over 10 years we have invited 5 times Le Mans winner Derek Bell OBE to host a special Le Mans Legends lunch for our VIP guests on the pre-race Friday. 2023 was no different, other than we had to start earlier. This because the usual big downtown Drivers Parade, another special event our guests love to attend, was brought forward because of additional centenary fixtures. As normal, this was held at the famous Auberge des Hunaudieres on the Mulsanne Straight. Wonderfully gracious and personable, Derek regaled a whole host of captivating stories from his fascinating past to the delight of our eager American VIP colleagues. For deserts, we finished with a hurried team picture and autographs before we all had to race off downtown.
