Toyota took their 4th consecutive Le Mans 24 Hours win last weekend, but a historic first in the new Hypercar era.
The 89th 24 Hours of Le Mans ushered in the new Hypercar era with overall victory going to the Toyota GR010 Hybrid driven by Conway, Kobayashi and López. Team WRT took the LMP2 honours in their Oreca Gibson whilst Ferrari came through to win over fierce competition from Corvette, Porsche and Aston Martin in the GTE and GTA classes. Peugeot will be joining this exciting new era in the top category for the 90th edition of the 24 Hours in 2022 followed by Audi, Porsche, Renault and Ferrari for the centenary anniversary edition in 2023.
